Akanksha Bansal

Akanksha Bansal is an accomplished scientific consultant and researcher with extensive experience in cellular biology and molecular mechanisms. Currently working as a freelancer at Kolabtree since June 2023, Akanksha provides scientific consulting services. Previous roles include a position as a Cell Biologist at Applied Biological Materials, where Akanksha generated stable cell lines and provided technical support for cell line development. A short-term contract as a Research Fellow at Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute focused on the impact of air pollutants on lung cells. Akanksha obtained a PhD in Respiratory Biology from the University of Calgary, and previous research experience includes projects on nanocarrier delivery systems for cancer therapies and the genetic analysis of cervical cancer. Akanksha holds an MTech in Biotechnology from Dr. D. Y. Patil Biotechnology and Bioinformatics Institute.
