Kurt Madland

Kurt Madland is a highly skilled software design engineer with extensive experience in the development of industrial automation applications and electronic warfare software systems. Currently serving as a Software Design Engineer II at Kollmorgen since February 2020, Kurt is responsible for designing new features from concept to implementation. Previous roles include Software Engineer I at Kollmorgen, where Kurt developed desktop .NET applications for servo motor configuration, and Associate Software Engineer at Chesapeake Technology International, focusing on electronic warfare systems and team leadership as Scrum Master. Earlier positions include internships at ADVANCED Motion Controls, Zindagi Games, and Semtech, where Kurt gained foundational software engineering and quality assurance skills. Kurt holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from UC Santa Barbara and a High School Diploma from Rio Mesa High School.
