Pete Johnson

Pete Johnson is an accomplished leader in the energy technology sector, currently serving as CEO of Koloma since August 2021, where the focus is on developing tools for clean geologic hydrogen production. Previously, Pete held roles as Venture Partner at Azimuth Capital Management from October 2018 to June 2023 and as Managing Director, Co-Founder, and Board Director at Monolith Materials from June 2012 to July 2022. Pete's earlier experience includes serving as President/CTO at Areva and Manager of Solar Boiler Engineering at Ausra, with foundational work at Allux Medical as an R&D Engineer. Pete holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Utah.
