Matteo Carminati

Matteo Carminati has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Matteo is currently working as a Senior Product Manager at Komainu since January 2023. Prior to that, they spent a significant part of their career at the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) starting from 2015.

At LSEG, Matteo held various positions including Senior Product Development Manager, Derivatives (April 2020 - February 2022), Product Development Manager, Derivatives (November 2018 - April 2020), Technology Product Manager, Derivatives (January 2018 - November 2018), Senior Technical Business Analyst (February 2016 - December 2017), and Technical Business Analyst (February 2015 - January 2016).

Before joining LSEG, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Politecnico di Milano from March 2012 to January 2015. Matteo also gained research experience as a Research Assistant at the National University of Singapore in February 2014.

Earlier in their career, Matteo had internships as a Software Developer. Matteo worked at SEM technology solutions from October 2009 to February 2010 and at Progetti s.r.l. from July 2008 to September 2009.

Throughout their career, Matteo Carminati has accumulated a diverse skill set and a strong background in product management, derivatives, technical analysis, and software development.

Matteo Carminati pursued their education from various institutions and obtained several degrees in the field of computer engineering and computer science. Matteo started their educational journey at Liceo Scientifico A. Banfi from 2001 to 2006, where they earned their Diploma. Following that, they attended Politecnico di Milano from 2006 to 2009, obtaining their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering. Matteo further continued their studies at Politecnico di Milano from 2009 to 2011, completing their Master's degree in Computer Engineering. During this time, they also attended Alta Scuola Politecnica from 2010 to 2011, where they achieved an ASP Diploma in Project Management. To further deepen their knowledge, Matteo pursued their Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Chicago from 2010 to 2012. Finally, they completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, which took place from 2012 to 2014.
