Eva Pons

Eva Pons is an accomplished conductor and educator with extensive experience in opera and music direction. Currently serving as Leiterin des Opernstudios/Studienleitung at Komische Oper Berlin since November 2021, Pons previously held the positions of Dirigentin und Dozentin at Theaterakademie August Everding from 2012 to November 2021, and Dirigentin und Solorepetitorin at Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz from 2001 to 2012. Pons began a career in music as Solorepetitorin und Assistentin at Staatstheater Darmstadt from 1999 to 2001. Educational credentials include a Diplom in Orchesterdirigieren from Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst and studies at Universität zu Köln.
