Katrin Bjärnebrand

Katrin Bjärnebrand has extensive experience in data protection and information security. Katrin is currently working at EasyPark Group as the Group Data Protection Officer. Prior to this, they served as the Interim Data Protection Officer at EasyPark Group. Before their tenure at EasyPark, they worked at Kommando as the Head of Information Security and later as a Senior Information Security Advisor. Previous to that, they were an Information Security Advisor at Acando, where they played a key role in GDPR and information security, serving as a Subject Matter Expert, Data Protection Officer, and Educator. Katrin also had additional responsibilities such as being a Knowledge Champion for Digital Trust and GDPR and a Project Manager for Acando Diversity & Equality. Earlier in their career, they worked at Grant Thornton Sweden as a System Analyst and at Enfo Zecurity and Pulsen Integration as an Identity and Access Management Consultant. Overall, Katrin Bjärnebrand has a diverse background in data protection, information security, and identity and access management.

Katrin Bjärnebrand has a diverse education history, spanning various fields and institutions. From 2006 to 2010, they attended Mälardalen University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. During this period, they also pursued studies in Informations Systems and Business Administration, earning a Master of Science degree. In 2007, they furthered their education at Mid Sweden University, focusing on Computer Science through various courses until 2010. Additionally, in 2009, they briefly studied Art at the University of Prince Edward Island, specifically in the fields of Philosophy and English Literature.
