Karin Flygare

Karin Flygare currently serves as Pressansvarig at Kommerskollegium | National Board of Trade Sweden since March 2024. Previously, Karin held the role of Pressansvarig/kommunikatör at Sveriges advokatsamfund from May 2021 to February 2024 and worked as Pressansvarig at E-hälsomyndigheten, focusing on the digitalization of Sweden's health care and social services from October 2019 to May 2021. Karin served as Pressekreterare for the Speaker of the Swedish Parliament from August 2011 to September 2019, where responsibilities included social media strategy and speechwriting. Additional experience includes positions as Kommunikationsstrateg at Länsstyrelsen Stockholm, Presskommunikatör at the Swedish Migration Agency, and Pressassistent at the Ministry of Enterprise. Karin's early career included roles as a Robert Schuman scholar and intern at the European Parliament and as a journalist at Skånska Dagbladet. Educational background includes a Master's degree in Political Science/European Governance from Lund University and studies at Berghs School of Communication.
