Maria Johem has extensive expertise in trade policy, particularly in tariff negotiations and customs valuation. Since April 1995, Maria has served as a Senior Adviser at the National Board of Trade (Kommerskollegium), focusing on WTO Affairs. Prior to this role, Maria worked as an Analyst in the same field and briefly served as an Attaché at the Permanent Mission of Sweden in Geneva in February 2014. From 1987 to 1995, Maria gained valuable experience as a Customs Officer at Tullverket (Swedish Customs).
