Anja B. M.

Anja B. M. is an experienced professional currently serving as Secretary Development and Adviser at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Islamabad since March 2022. Prior to this role, Anja worked as an Adviser in the Section for Human Rights at Norad - Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation from September 2019 to March 2022, and briefly as an Advisor at The Research Council of Norway in mid-2019. Anja has also contributed as a Master's student at Chr. Michelsens Institute and served as a Research Assistant at the University of Bergen, focusing on interdisciplinary studies in higher education transformation. Previous experiences include a trainee position at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Kampala and a role as Avdelingstillitsvalgt in the Norwegian Armed Forces. Anja holds a Master of Philosophy in Public Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Development Studies from the University of Bergen, along with an exchange semester in Social Sciences at Makerere University.
