Maxime Pirson

Maxime Pirson is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a Senior Transactor in Structured Export Finance at Kommunalkredit since October 2025. Prior to this role, Maxime held positions as a Senior Investment Officer for Infrastructure & Renewable Energy at BIO from May 2017 to October 2025, and as a Senior Auditor and Director of Export Finance Europe at BNP Paribas Fortis between August 2015 and April 2017. Earlier experience includes serving as Head of Export Finance Turkey at BNP Paribas from April 2010 to August 2015, a Senior Vice President of Project Finance in Energy, Petrochemicals, and Oil & Gas at Fortis Bank, and as a Manager in Export & Project Finance for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Fortis Bank. Maxime's career began with a management trainee position at Fortis Bank from 1999 to 2006. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Intercultural Management from Ichec Brussels Management School, a Post-graduate degree in European Studies from Université catholique de Louvain, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Ichec Brussels Management School.
