Izzy Martinez

Izzy Martinez has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. They started their career at the Consulate of Mexico in Los Angeles as a Social Media Intern, where they focused on research, database management, and connecting with the youth through social media platforms. They then worked at Apple Inc. as a Creative, delivering personalized training sessions and facilitating group workshops. At Trumpia, they created and managed the Customer Success team, achieving a high product adoption and renewal rate for top clients. They later joined Demandforce as a Customer Success Manager, representing customer interests and providing training. Izzy then worked at Organizing for Action as an ACA Health4All Fellow, organizing events and grassroots campaigns to promote healthcare coverage for undocumented immigrants. They then moved on to Practice Fusion as an EHR Project Manager, leading cross-team collaborations, resolving product inquiries, and managing the integration of various programs. At Jiff, Inc., they served as a Customer Operations Manager before the company was acquired by Castlight Health. In this role, they focused on customer operations. At Castlight Health, Izzy worked as an Implementation Project Manager, leading project scoping and ongoing team meetings, as well as maintaining project work plans and presenting project status. Currently, Izzy is working at Komodo Health as a Product Operations Lead, where they are responsible for developing patient-centric SaaS products, coordinating product launches, and continuously improving processes.

Izzy Martinez attended the University of California, Riverside from 2008 to 2010, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General. In 2009, they participated in a Study Abroad Program at the University of Sussex, focusing on Development Economics and International Development. From 2014 to 2016, Izzy attended the University of California, Berkeley, specializing in the Health Advocacy Program. They also have an additional certification in "MACRA: Disrupting the US Health Care System at All Levels" from Deloitte.
