Monica Mosley Morton has a diverse work experience, starting in 2011 as an intern at Focus Features, where they gained experience in script coverage, post-production assistance, and research. Monica then worked as a Manager of Development at Mandt Brothers Productions, where they managed the development slate and handled various administrative tasks. In 2014, Monica joined Gleam Futures as a Talent Producer, liaising between the talent roster, agencies, and industry leaders. Monica later became a Talent Manager, handling US-based clients and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders. In 2018, Monica was promoted to Group Talent Manager at Gleam Futures, overseeing talent management and maintaining a global network. Monica then transitioned to dentsu international in 2022 as a Vice President of Talent Management for Gleam Futures before joining Komodo in the same year as a Senior Vice President of Global Talent Management.

Monica Mosley Morton attended Deer Valley High School from 2004 to 2008, where they completed the Regular/General High School/Secondary Diploma Program. Later, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from Sonoma State University, graduating in 2012. In terms of additional certifications, Monica obtained certifications in A2E Business Fundamentals, Management Accelerator as part of the Black Leadership Academy, Business Strategy, and Problem Solving from McKinsey & Company in 2022.
