Emil Burzo

Emil Burzo has a strong background in Java engineering and Linux system administration. Emil has held various senior roles in different companies, contributing to the development of cloud-based software solutions. In their most recent role at komoot, Emil served as a Senior Backend Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at nPhase Inc. as a Senior Java Engineer and Linux Sysadmin, where they were involved in developing the REDCap Cloud SaaS platform. Emil also worked as a Senior Java Engineer and Linux Sysadmin at VeracityID Inc., participating in the development of IdFusion, a cloud-based Big Data solution for a global insurance company. At Candor GRC, they contributed to the construction of CoRAS, a cloud-based Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) central management system. Emil also worked at CareCast360 Inc., helping to build CareCast, a cloud-based telehealth solution for physicians. Earlier in their career, Emil worked at Flat Rock Systems LLC as a Java Engineer and Linux Sysadmin, where they were involved in the development of Genu, a cloud-based legal case analysis software product. Emil started their career at SoftZone as a Junior Java Developer and Linux Sysadmin, where they contributed to the development of the ISOtop ERP system.

Emil Burzo attended Universitatea de Nord din Baia-Mare from 2007 to 2011, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computers and Information Technology.
