Mara Zavagno

Mara Zavagno has a comprehensive work experience spanning various roles and companies. Mara most recently served as the Vice President Human Resources BA Industrial Service and Equipment and Chief DEI Officer at Konecranes since July 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer and Vice President Talent, Engagement, and Rewards at Konecranes from January 2021 to July 2022. From February 2019 to March 2021, they were the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer Konecranes & Vice President Human Resources BA Port Solutions. Mara also worked as the Vice President Human Resources BA Port Solutions at Konecranes from January 2017 to March 2021.

In addition, Mara Zavagno has held the position of Managing Director at Demag Cranes & Components since June 2022. Mara also served as a Member of the Board of Trustees at ISD dusseldorf from May 2019.

Mara'searlier experiences include working as the Senior Director of Human Resources at Terex Port Solutions since June 2005. Mara also worked as the Human Resources Director Italy at Terex Cranes - Gru Comedil from June 2005 to January 2011. Prior to that, they served as the Human Resources Manager Sanitec group at Domino Spa from July 2001 to June 2005. Mara'scareer started as the Plant HR Manager at Radici Film.

Mara Zavagno received a degree in Political Science with a focus on Economy from Università degli Studi di Padova, which they completed between 1992 and 1996. Mara also obtained a certification in Business Coaching from NLP Italy. In 2019, Mara attended SDA Bocconi for corporate sustainability studies. Mara furthered their education in 2020 at Henley Business School, focusing on Board of Directors. In 2021, they completed Board of Director Training at EWoB C-Level School. Additionally, Mara received a certification from European Women on Boards (EWOB) called "EWOB C level School."
