Marko Äkräs

Marko Äkräs is currently the Senior Vice President of Service, Business Processes, and Systems at Konecranes, a position held since 2024. Previously, they served in several key roles at Konecranes, including Vice President of Field Service and Technology and Director of the Business Unit Crane Service, overseeing global operations. Marko’s earlier experience includes managing the Crane Parts Center at Konecranes Standard Lifting Corp and directing the Crane Service Nordic line. They earned a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Tampere University of Technology between 1988 and 1992.
