Risto Helle

Risto Helle has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Risto began their career at KCI Motors Oy in 1997, starting as a Production Engineer and later becoming a Production Manager. In 2004, they joined Konecranes as an Operations Manager, where they successfully managed various projects related to reshaping the component manufacturing footprint. Risto then took on the role of Technology Transfer Manager before becoming the Director of Production Technology Development, where they were responsible for developing production technology and planning manufacturing footprints. In 2012, Risto was promoted to Vice President of Supply Operation, Trolleys, and Components, where they played a crucial role in overseeing supply operations. Risto continued to progress within the company and held positions such as VP of Manufacturing Integration & Technology and VP of Manufacturing Technology and Integration. Currently, Risto serves as the SVP of Supply Operations at Konecranes, where they hold responsibility for customer deliveries, production, operational excellence, and profitability within the supply network.

Risto Helle completed their Master of Science - Technology degree in Production Engineering and Industrial Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan in the period of 1994 to 2000. In 2019 and 2018, they participated in strategy workout sessions at Harvard University. In 2012, they pursued an Executive Training module called "Lifting leaders" at IMD. In 2010 to 2011, they completed the JOKO81 - Advanced Management Education Program at Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development. In 1996 to 1997, Risto studied Economics at Université de Bordeaux. Risto also completed high school at Munkkiniemen Yhteiskoulu in 1989 to 1992, and attended West Hill High School in Montreal, Canada, for a year from 1986 to 1987.
