Santiago Zabalgoitia Villalobos

Santiago Zabalgoitia Villalobos has been a Technology Operations Manager at Konfront since 2018. From 2013 to 2018, they were an Intern - Watch repair at Holzer y Cia. S.A. de C.V., where they learned to repair and fully service electrical watches, as well as gaining a deeper understanding of the composition, function and repair of both electric and mechanical watches. Santiago developed their ability to find problems with watches and their solutions, and learned important details in watchmaking.

Santiago Zabalgoitia Villalobos obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) from Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2011 to 2016, majoring in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering. From 2008 to 2011, they attended The Edron Academy, obtaining IGCSE and IB with a focus in Physics Higher Level, Mathematics Higher Level, Business and Management Higher Level, and Chemistry. In 2017 and 2018, they attended N. G. Hayek Watchmaking School, where they obtained a WOSTEP in Watchmaking and Jewelrymaking. Prior to that, they attended American Cooperative School La Paz Bolivia from 2004 to 2007 for Middle School. In addition, they obtained a SolidWorks Mechanical Design certification from Dassault Systems in September 2016.
