Carmen Vollmer serves as the Director of Finance at Kongresshaus Zürich since June 2022, with an expanded role as Stv. Director of Finance beginning June 2023, focusing on the onboarding of ad Interim Director of Finance and enhancing HR budget processes. Prior to this role, Carmen held various positions including Controller and Project Controller, demonstrating expertise in financial controlling, reporting, and process optimization across organizations such as Thurgau Medical AG, SpineWelding AG, and Rieter Textile Systems. Education includes a diploma in Business Economics with distinction and project management certification (IPMA Level D). Additional qualifications encompass a sommelier certification (WSET 2) and participation in numerous professional development programs.

Kongresshaus Zürich is a local institution of national and international renown, which boasts a spectacular panoramic view of Lake Zurich and offers an incomparable array of events and services. We offer diversity by design: conventions, trade fairs, and exhibitions as well as all kinds of business, social, and cultural events, including world-class highlights. Reopening 2020: The rooms and foyers offer a total of 5,300 sq.m (57,000 sq.ft) of space; the largest meeting room can accommodate up to 1,640 persons. In all, the Kongresshaus houses more than 20 rooms and foyers, creating all kinds of breakout options. The facilities in the adjacent Tonhalle concert hall, covering over 2,000 sq. m (21,500 sq.ft), can also be rented for events with a maximum of 2,500 participants. Thanks to the central location and excellent public transportation connections, an event at the Kongresshaus can easily be combined with a stay at virtually any of Zurich’s hotels.
