Fredy Coral

Fredy Coral has over 16 years of experience in the engineering field, specializing in the analysis of risers, flowlines, and wellhead fatigue. Currently serving as a Technical Advisor at KONGSBERG since October 2013, Fredy Coral performs advanced analyses including static, dynamic, and modal assessments, as well as experimental data post-processing. Previous roles include Principal Engineer at 2H Offshore, Senior Project Engineer at Kongsberg Oil & Gas, Equipment Engineer at Technip, and Project Engineer at Softec, where project work ranged from structural verification to detailed equipment design for various offshore projects. Fredy Coral holds a D.Sc. and M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro and a B.Sc. from the National University of Engineering.
