Julie Davis

Associate Director, Health Informatics at Koniag Government Services

Julie Davis has extensive work experience in the healthcare field. Julie began their career in 1997 in the US Navy as a Military Officer and later transitioned to the US Army, where they served as a Military Officer until 2021. During their time in the Army, Julie held various roles, including Chief Nurse Dept of Anesthesia at Brooke Army Medical Center and Officer in Charge PACU.

Julie also served as an Electronic Health Record Staff Officer at the Office of the Surgeon General- Army, where they were responsible for business process management and standardization of enterprise-level processes. Julie managed the deployment of the Cerner EHR for Army Medical Department subject matter experts.

In addition to their military experience, Julie worked as a Staff Nurse at Wm Beaumont Army Medical Center and as an ED Nurse at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. Julie also held positions at WINN Army Community Hospital and Joint Base San Antonio, where they focused on nursing peer review and ambulatory nursing, respectively.

Most recently, Julie joined Koniag Government Services in 2021 as the Associate Director of Health Informatics.

Julie Davis's education history begins in 1990 when they enrolled at the Community College of Allegheny County. Julie completed their Associate of Science (AS) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from there, graduating in 1995. Following that, in 1995, Julie pursued further education at the University of Pittsburgh - School of Nursing where they earned their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, specializing in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Moving forward to 2011, they decided to continue their education at The George Washington University, where they obtained a Master's degree in Legal Assistant/Paralegal, completing their studies in 2013.
