Shawn Liu

Shaohua (Shawn) Liu is an experienced professional in the field of medical imaging and software engineering, currently serving as the Director of Research and Development and Imaging Scientist at Koning Corporation since October 2008. In this role, responsibilities include directing R&D programs and leading the development of Koning Breast CT systems, with a focus on mechanical, electronic, and software design. Prior to this, Shaohua held positions as a Medical Imaging Reconstruction Engineer, Visiting Scholar at the University of Rochester Medical Center, Chief Architecture Designer at Goldsoft Technology Development Co., Ltd., Application Engineer at Schlumberger, and Senior Software Engineer at Goldsoft Technology Development Co., Ltd. Shaohua holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Rochester and a Master’s Degree in Software Engineering from Tsinghua University.
