Jan Willem van Wessel

Jan Willem van Wessel has extensive experience in leadership and management within the fields of content technology and digital transformation. Currently serving as Voormalig Adjunct-directeur at KB, nationale bibliotheek since January 2018, Jan Willem has overseen the processing and preservation of content both physically and digitally. Prior roles include Senior VP at Hinttech/Tahzoo/EPAM Systems, Managing Director at Hinttech Content Solutions, and COO at Daidalos, where significant contributions were made to the development of content-driven technology solutions. Jan Willem's career began as Project Manager in Electronic Publishing and Managing Director at AND International Publishers. In addition to these roles, Jan Willem has shared insights as an author and blogger for Frankwatching, contributing to trends and technologies in online and social media. Educationally, Jan Willem holds a master's degree in Computational Linguistics from the University of Amsterdam.
