Daan de Vries

Daan de Vries has extensive work experience in financial management and control roles within various industries. Daan is currently working as the Finance Director at Boskalis Offshore Heavy Marine Transport, where they oversee the financial operations of the company. Prior to that, they served as the CFO at TMA Logistics from 2018 to 2020, where they managed the financial aspects of land, sea, and air transport services. From 2012 to 2018, Daan worked as the Group Controller at Anthony Veder, a leading gas shipping service provider. Daan also has experience as a Senior Cost Engineer at SBM Offshore in 2011. Before that, they held multiple financial roles at Royal IHC, including Controller, Assistant Controller, and Assistant Project Controller. Daan started their career at Arthur D. Little as a Business Analyst from 2006 to 2008.

Daan de Vries completed their education with a MSc in Marine Technology from Delft University of Technology in 2004. Daan then pursued a MSc in Financial Management from Nyenrode Business University from 2004 to 2005. Later, from 2009 to 2014, they attended Nyenrode Business University again, this time completing an Executive Master of Finance and Control (RC).
