Michiel Dams

Michiel Dams is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate legal affairs. Currently serving as Corporate Director Legal Affairs at Koninklijke Ten Cate B. V since March 2016, Michiel previously held the position of Group Legal Counsel and Secretary to the Supervisory Board at Hertel from April 2013 to March 2016. Michiel's earlier roles include General Counsel at Gamma Holding N.V., Legal Adviser at Royal Dutch Shell, and Attorney-at-law at Mrs. Banning, Van Kemenade and Holland. Additionally, Michiel contributed as a member of the Supervisory Board for Woningbouwvereniging Bergopwaarts from April 2007 to April 2015 and started a career in academia as a teaching assistant at Utrecht University's Faculty of Law. Michiel Dams holds a degree in Netherlands Civil Law from Utrecht University, awarded with merit.
