Karlijn Krol

Karlijn Krol is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and innovation within the fields of environmental sustainability and digital communication. Currently serving as the Global Program Manager Greenhouse Gas at Vopak since May 2019, Karlijn oversees the development and implementation of greenhouse gas reduction initiatives. Previously, as the Global Innovation Manager at Vopak, responsibility included identifying improvement opportunities and facilitating technological trust. At PostNL, from February 2010 to April 2019, Karlijn held several key positions including Startup Scout, where collaboration between corporates and startups was fostered, and Consultant Social Business, leading social media strategy and initiatives. Karlijn Krol holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from HZ University of Applied Sciences, obtained in 2009.
