Vice President Digital Solutions, OT And Implementations at Vopak

Pieter Lek has extensive experience in the field of digital solutions and technology, particularly in the oil and gas industry. Pieter has held various leadership roles at Vopak, including Vice President of Digital Solutions, Director of Digital Solutions Operations and Technology, and Solution Manager for MyService Suite. In these positions, Pieter was responsible for implementing new systems, managing product teams, and developing strategies for terminal management systems. Pieter also worked as a Program Manager and Manager of Process Improvement & IT at Vopak. Prior to their time at Vopak, Pieter served as Director of IT at Chemical Europe and Africa division, where they focused on standardizing workplace environments and enabling secure remote working. Before that, they held roles at TRW ISCS as a country manager and program manager, and at Largotim as a pre-sales consultant and consultant. Overall, Pieter Lek has a comprehensive background in digital solutions, program management, and process improvement.

Pieter Lek attended Lyceum Alphen aan den Rijn from 1982 to 1988. Pieter then went on to study at De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences from 1988 to 1992.
