Rutger Wentzel

Rutger Wentzel currently holds the position of Business Controller for the Business Unit Netherlands at Vopak, where responsibilities include financial oversight and contribution to diversity and inclusion initiatives as a Board Member of the Vopak Pride Network. Previous roles include Portfolio/Business Controller at Brink and Junior Portfolio Controller for Europe & Africa. Rutger's experience also encompasses consultancy at Erasmus UPT and a research internship focusing on the co-agglomeration of industries. Additionally, Rutger served as Vice President of the Incoming Global Internship Programme at AIESEC in the Netherlands, managing internship opportunities and leading a long-term project for refugees. Academically, Rutger is pursuing an Executive Master of Finance and Control at Erasmus University Rotterdam, having completed a Master of Science in Urban, Port & Transport Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Economics at the same institution.
