Marek Jalovec

Marek Jalovec is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and operations across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Kontext since June 2025, Marek previously held the position of VP, Engineering - Tooling and Security at FINN, where responsibilities included leading diverse teams in IT and cybersecurity. At Citrix from November 2018 to July 2022, Marek excelled as Director of Cloud Ops Engineering and oversaw significant improvements in delivery predictability and operational efficiency. An earlier career includes founding Gilbr and experience at companies such as Sapho, McCann Prague, and LiveSport. Marek holds an Executive MBA from MCI, along with Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Informatics and System Engineering from the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague.
