Alvaro Villanueva

Alvaro Villanueva has a diverse work experience spanning several prestigious companies. Alvaro currently holds the position of Director Supply Chain Finance LATAM at Kontoor Brands, Inc. Prior to this, they worked at 3M for a significant amount of time, where they held various finance management roles. Alvaro was responsible for leading the LATAM finance organization for 3M's manufacturing and supply chain operations in the region. Alvaro also led the finance reorganization for the Enterprise Operations M&SC group, resulting in improved gross margins and cash flow. Alvaro has also worked at Telefónica as a Financial Planning Manager and at Copa Airlines in several strategic alliance and planning roles.

Alvaro Villanueva holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Industrial Engineering, which was obtained from Purdue University in 2007. Alvaro later pursued a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Industrial Engineering at Purdue University from 2008 to 2009. In 2012, they completed two separate Master's degrees in Finance, General from Tulane University - A.B. Freeman School of Business and IESA.
