Philip Linnemann

Executive Creative Director & Partner at Kontrapunkt

Philip Linnemann's work experience includes various roles in different companies. Philip started their career as a Private in The Danish Armed Forces in 2008. Philip then worked as a Design Intern at venturethree, assisting in brand development for various clients. In 2013, they co-founded Caribu, a video call story time platform, which was later sold to Mattel in 2022. Philip also worked as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Microsoft Ventures in 2014. From 2014 to 2017, Philip worked at Danske Bank as a Corporate Entrepreneur, specializing in product and service design. During this time, they were part of the bank's digital innovation entity and gained experience in scaling organizations. In 2017, they joined Kontrapunkt as a Creative Director and later became an Executive Creative Director & Partner in 2018. Philip has also held roles at EVERLAND, DI - Dansk Industri, Danish Design Award, and TEDxFrederiksberg as a Board Member, Member of the Board of Design, Jury Member, and Speaker, respectively.

Philip Linnemann has a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Management from Imperial College Business School, which they completed from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Graphic Design Communication from the University of the Arts London from 2009 to 2012. In 2010, they participated in the New York Exchange Program at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Philip also completed A-levels/Matematisk Student from Øregård Gymnasium from 2004 to 2007, with a focus on Math, Design, and Music. In terms of additional certifications, they are UX Certified from the Nielsen Norman Group, and also a Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance, both obtained in 2016.
