Inge Netterberg has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Inge is currently working at Kontron as the Head of Project Management & Service Delivery since July 2019. Prior to this, they were an Independent Consultant starting from October 2013, specializing in the implementation of Automated Fare Collection (AFC) and Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) for public transport. From September 2018 to July 2019, they served as the Head of Customer Operations Management at Kapsch PublicTransportCom Belgium.
Inge also worked as a Principal Consultant at Saha International from January 2007 to September 2013, where they provided strategic advice on Integrated Fare Management in Public Transport to various government entities in South Africa. Before that, they were involved in the field of geo-information, working as a Geo-Information Specialist at Arup from August 2004 to December 2006, and also held the position of National Council - Marketing at The Geo-Information Society of South Africa (GISSA) from 2006 to 2011.
Additionally, Inge has experience in academia, having worked as a Part Time Lecturer at the University of Pretoria from September 2002 to December 2005, where they taught courses on cartographic skills and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Inge also gained valuable experience as a Geo-Information Specialist (Intern) at CSIR from November 2003 to July 2004, working on projects related to GIS database management and mapping. Inge started their career as a Researcher at IVM in 2002.
Inge Netterberg obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Geographical Information Systems / Science from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria, which they attended from 1998 to 2001. Inge then pursued further education and earned a Masters degree in GIS from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2001 to 2003. In addition to their academic qualifications, Inge Netterberg obtained a PRINCE2 Foundation Certificate from EXIN in July 2014.
