Mark Jones, PMP, has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Mark is the Founder/CEO of Konvivial, a role they started in May 2022. Prior to this, they were the Principal of Jomez Consulting LLC for over seven years, which they left in May 2022. Mark also worked as the Director of Consulting Services at Epigen for a year and as a Senior Program Manager at Noblis ESI for eight months. Mark was a Senior Advisor at S2 Analytical Solutions, LLC for a year and was a Board Member of the Virginia Tech MBA Advisory Board for almost two years. Mark also worked as a Senior Program Manager at Visual Connections LLC for over three years, where they served as a Senior Advisor to the Defense Logistics Agency. Mark started their career in the United States Air Force, where they worked for four years as the Lead of the Spectrum Support Division. Before founding Konvivial, they worked as a Senior Engineer at ITT Inc. and as a Lead Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton.
Mark Jones, PMP received their Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from Park University in 1998. In 2004, they completed their Master of Science degree in Strategic Management from Troy University. Mark later earned a Master of Business Administration degree in International/Global Studies from Virginia Tech in 2014. In 2009, Mark obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.

Einstein is quoted as having said that if he had one hour to save the world, he would spend fifty-five minutes defining the problem and only five minutes finding the solution. The founders of Konvivial (pronounced; con-viv-e-al) were inspired by this quote and the experiences gained over their combined 45 years of military and federal service.
