Richard Musau

Richard Musau has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Richard currently serves as the Head of Business Development - Data Center at Konza Technopolis Development Authority since November 2020. Richard worked as a Business Development Consultant at Sheer Capital Solutions from June 2020 to November 2020. Prior to that, they were a Key Account Executive at Twiga Foods Ltd, where they focused on business development and customer satisfaction from January 2020 to June 2020. Richard also has experience as a Business Development Executive at Horeca Kenya Ltd from September 2016 to February 2019. Richard started their career at Kenya Meat Commission, where they held various roles such as Depot Supervisor, Sales Assistant, Dispatch In-charge, and Sales Dispatch Clerk from 2008 to 2016. Before that, they worked as an IT Support at Lea Toto Program in 2007. In 2006, Richard worked at Onix Computer Services Ltd as an Admin Assistant and later as the Ag. Branch Manager. Throughout their career, Richard has demonstrated expertise in business development, sales, customer relationship management, and IT support.

Richard Musau holds a Bachelor of Business Information Technology (BBIT) degree from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), which they completed from 2012 to 2015. In 2018, they obtained a Certificate in Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) from the Institute of Advanced Technology Ltd. Furthermore, they also hold a Certificate in CCNA Discovery from MultiMedia University of Kenya, which they earned in 2008. Prior to that, Richard completed a Diploma in Information Technology from the Technical University of Kenya between 2003 and 2005. In terms of additional certifications, they achieved the ITIL® 4 Foundation CPD from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2021, as well as the HCIA Cloud Computing certification from Huawei in the same year. Additionally, they obtained the Cisco Certified Network Professional Service Provider certification from Cisco in 2008.
