Thomas Eggers

Thomas Eggers, CPA, has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Thomas started their career as a Staff Accountant at Deloitte & Touche in 1986, before moving on to become the Controller at The Heritage Group in 1988. At The Heritage Group, Thomas managed the financial operations of Milestone Contractors, a heavy highway and bridge contractor with regional offices and asphalt plants.

After their tenure at The Heritage Group, Thomas became the Chief Financial Officer at National Construction Enterprises, a privately-held commercial general contractor and building materials wholesaler. Thomas oversaw the financial affairs of ten subsidiaries located in six states, with over 1,000 employees.

Following their role at National Construction Enterprises, Thomas served as the Chief Financial Officer at Edwards Electrical and Mechanical, a $75M subsidiary of First Energy. During their time there, they provided commercial electrical and mechanical installation and service and was responsible for the manufacturing of glycol mixing/proportioning systems, sheet metal ductwork, and piping fixtures.

Thomas then joined Comfort Systems USA National Accounts in 2004 as the Chief Financial Officer and later became the Vice President of Operations. In this role, they were responsible for the operational and financial performance of HVAC service and mechanical construction. Thomas successfully managed the customer relationship and installation of 60 energy management systems in less than 5 months for an international footwear company.

Most recently, Thomas has been serving as the CFO and Vice President of Finance at Koorsen Fire and Security since 2011. In this position, they hold senior financial leadership responsibilities.

Thomas Eggers, CPA obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis in the years 1981-1985. After completing their undergraduate studies, they pursued a certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from an undisclosed institution in 1986. Furthermore, they earned the designation of LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) in 2009.
