Johanna Brown

Johanna Brown has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Johanna started their career in 2004 at UW Medicine, where they worked as a Program Operations Specialist until 2006. Johanna then transitioned into the role of Compliance Analyst and held that position until 2011. In the same year, they joined Virginia Mason Medical Center as a Privacy Analyst before moving on to UW Medicine as a Compliance Specialist. Johanna Brown's most recent position was at Kootenai Health, where they served as the Director of Compliance since 2014.

Johanna Brown completed their education with a B.A. in Broadcasting Journalism from Gonzaga University in the years 1999 to 2001. Johanna then pursued an Associate of Arts (AA) degree from North Idaho College between 1996 and 1999. In recent years, Johanna completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Healthcare Management from Western Governors University, which they attended in the years 2022 to 2023. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including Certified in Health Care Compliance (CHC) in 2019, Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC) in 2013, and Certified HIPAA Professional (CHP) in 2011.
