Jimmi Sue Smith

Jimmi Sue is the Vice President of Finance and Treasurer.

In this role she is responsible for the global treasury management function. Jimmi Sue plays an integral role in public debt financing, mergers and acquisitions activities, and debt agreements. She also maintains and grows the company’s relationships with a syndication of 14 commercial banks and bond rating agencies.

Jimmi Sue has extensive financial leadership experience and a track record of continued upward progression. She started her career on the audit team at a Big 4 Accounting firm in Pittsburgh.

After five years there and a promotion to Audit Manager, she took on roles of Controller and Financial Accounting Manager at Pittsburgh area manufacturing companies. Next, Jimmi Sue joined Koppers and held the role of Senior Controller for North American Carbon Materials and Chemicals (CMC) for over four years. Most recently, she was at a Pittsburgh area energy company for over 11 years serving as Director of Corporate Accounting, VP/Controller, Chief Accounting Officer and Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer.

Jimmi Sue received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an Accounting concentration from West Virginia University and she received her law degree from the Duquesne University School of Law.
