Brendan Comerford

Brendan Comerford has extensive experience in maritime operations, currently serving as the Maritime Operations Centre Manager at Kordia since September 1997. In this role, Brendan oversees a 24/7 team and manages the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS). Additionally, Brendan has held the title of Assurance Services Manager for the Maritime Operations Centre and the Network Operations Centre, where responsibilities include managing the New Zealand Maritime Operations Centre and the Kordia Network Operations Centre. Prior to joining Kordia, Brendan worked as a Radio Operator at Telecom NZ from October 1984 to September 1993, specializing in Morse Code communications for NZ Coast Stations and Chatham Islands Radio.
