Laurence Ford has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Since 2023, they have been the Head of Sales - Managed IT at Kordia. Prior to this, they were the Head of Sales at Base2 - Powered By Kordia from 2022 to 2023. Laurence also worked at Aura Information Security from 2020 to 2022 as the Northern Regional Aura Sales Manager. Laurence'srole involved assisting organizations in understanding their cybersecurity risks and developing strategies to mitigate them. Before that, from 2012 to 2020, Laurence worked as an Account Director at Kordia. Laurence started their career as a Vodafone Sales Representative in 2008 and worked there until 2012. Prior to that, Laurence was a Senior Account Manager at International Cargo Express (Perishables) Ltd from 2002 to 2008.
Laurence Ford has a Bachelor's degree in Information Science, with a focus on Information Technology, from Massey University. Before attending university, Laurence also attended Kelston Boys High School. In terms of additional certifications, Laurence has obtained certifications in Autotask PSA and Continuity from Datto, as well as certifications in information security governance, IT and cybersecurity risk management, and OSINT from LinkedIn.
