Girish Ahankari

Girish Ahankari is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in engineering, particularly in natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning (ML). Currently serving as Executive Vice President of Engineering for ML and GenAI at Kore.ai since August 2015, Girish leads a team dedicated to optimizing tools for chatbot development and advancing AI initiatives. Prior to this role, Girish held multiple positions at Tech Mahindra from December 2006 to August 2015, including Director of NLP & Machine Learning, where responsibilities encompassed technical leadership in Java and J2EE development. Earlier experience at Virtusa from January 2004 to December 2006 included roles from software engineer to Associate Technical Lead, also focused on product development in Java and J2EE. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Computer Science from Osmania University and an MSc in Computer Science from Sai Sudhir P.G. College, complemented by a BSc in Computer Science from Nanakram Bhagvan Das Science College.
