James Farquhar

James Farquhar has an extensive work experience spanning several industries. James currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Kore Labs Ltd, a FinTech startup specializing in Product Lifecycle Management software and services. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing all aspects of technology within the company.

Prior to their current position, Farquhar owned and operated Lentium Consulting Ltd, where they provided interim IT leadership services. James also served as an investor and board advisor at Rubitek, an Apprenticeship Management platform provider. During their time at Rubitek, they led an emergency migration project and implemented DevOps best practices to enhance the platform.

Farquhar also worked as the Chief Technology Officer at Mortgage Engine, a fast-moving FinTech startup focused on disrupting the mortgage sector. In this role, they were accountable for all technical aspects of the company's setup, including hiring, product technical architecture, and support services.

James Farquhar attended Aston University from 1988 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Chemical Engineering. Later, from 2003 to 2005, they attended Cranfield School of Management and earned an MBA degree.
