James Benson

James Benson is the Assistant General Counsel at KORE Wireless, bringing over twenty-five years of in-house legal experience in areas such as commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, and litigation management. Previously, James served as Corporate Counsel and Senior Counsel in various organizations, including Verizon Wireless and Powertel, Inc., where they led legal operations and negotiated complex agreements. James holds licenses to practice law in North Carolina and Georgia and holds a Doctor of Law degree from Wake Forest University, a Master of Public Administration from Troy University, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Clemson University. Additionally, James has a notable background as a retired United States Air Force Reserve Officer, having served in active duty and reserve capacities for over twenty-four years.
