René Elstrodt

René Elstrodt has extensive work experience in project management and the telecommunications industry. René began their career at Sokkia BV, European Head Office as an Electronic Engineer from December 1990 to December 1993. René then worked at Mirodata as a Computer Engineer from January 1994 to August 1995. From September 1995 to August 1999, they worked at Vodafone as an MSC Engineer in the Network Operation Centre (NOC), responsible for monitoring, integration, testing, and accepting network elements, transmission, and IN services.

In 1999, Elstrodt joined Telfort as a Back Office Manager, where they managed a team of 30 ICT and Telecom engineers responsible for second and third line maintenance of the mobile network. René later became a Project Manager, overseeing various technical international projects, including the implementation of the UMTS core network of Huawei. René then served as a Demand Manager, responsible for challenging the scope, budget, and schedule of network and systems projects outsourced to Ericsson.

In 2007, Elstrodt worked as a Project Manager at BT Professional Services, where they managed security projects for the ABN-AMRO bank, including the implementation of the new ABN-AMRO bank Identifier. From 2008 to 2009, they worked as a Project Manager at ASPIDER Solutions, followed by a role as an Owner at EOS mediation from January 2010 to June 2012.

Elstrodt then returned to ASPIDER Solutions as a Program Manager USA/Senior Project Manager from June 2012 to March 2014, responsible for delivering mobile virtual network enabler (MVNE) and onboarding new mobile virtual network operators (MVNO) in the USA. René also managed business projects in the Netherlands and ensured MVNO compliance in Europe.

Currently, Elstrodt is employed at KORE Wireless, where they started as a Senior Project Manager in November 2014. René successfully delivered an MVNE and facilitated the onboarding of an MVNO in New Zealand while managing an Oracle billing migration project without disrupting end-user services. René has recently been promoted to the role of Project Management Director.

René Elstrodt attended HTS Rens & Rens Hilversum from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a degree in MTS in the field of Electronics.
