Jiwon K.

Jiwon K. is an experienced researcher and program coordinator currently employed at The Korea Foundation since September 2020. Prior to this role, Jiwon worked as a policy researcher at the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology from July 2018 to April 2019 and served as a researcher and project manager at the Science and Technology Policy Institute from March 2014 to May 2018. Early career experiences include positions as an English Korean translator for Arirang TV, a research intern at the Korea Economic Institute of America, and multiple research internship roles at the Korea Institute for Industrial Economics & Trade and HSBC Investment Bank. Jiwon K. holds a Master of Arts in Comparative and Regional Studies from American University, another Master of Arts in International Studies from Korea University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Interpretation and Translation from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.
