John Shin has a diverse work experience. From 2008 to the present, they have worked at the Korean Community Services of Metropolitan New York, where they held various positions including Case Manager, Assistant Director of a senior center, Director of a senior center, and currently serves as the Director of Administration. In 2019, they also worked as a Pastoral Intern at Living Faith Community Church. In addition, they worked as a Customer Service Representative at UnitedHealth Group from 2007 to 2008.
John Shin earned a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree in Bible/Biblical Studies from Alliance University. John also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology from Queens College.
