Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines
The Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines (KCC) first opened its doors to the public on July 19, 2011, with the goal of expanding the understanding and appreciation of Korean culture and promoting a more active people-to-people exchange between the Republic of Korea and the Philippines. KCC is under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST)'s Korean Culture and Information Service (KOCIS) and has been continuously coordinating with the Philippine art and culture sector, including government, non-government, and private organizations. For the past years, it has been providing a diverse range of programs which include class offerings in the Korean language and culture, exhibitions, film festivals, and special events such as Korean culture caravans. In 2022, KCC plans to expand its programs to culture collaboration for mutual growth of both countries' creative industries under the theme of 'Phil-Koraboration' at its new home located at 59 Bayani Rd., Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
