Chris Hughes has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

Starting in 2013, they worked as a part-time and eventually full-time Front of House team member at Harvester, gaining experience in customer service and working under pressure.

In 2015, Chris held a university-based position as a Content Producer at Solent Journalism, where they produced written, audio, and video content.

In the same year, they also worked as a Writer for Read Southampton.

In 2016, Chris had multiple roles including being a Writer for VAVEL.com's NBA division and co-running a blog on WordPress, where they covered football and basketball sections.

Chris also worked as a Videographer for South Coast Journalism, filming at various events.

In 2017, Chris held an editorial role as an Editor/Team Manager for VAVEL.com's NBA division and was promoted to co-editor.

From 2016 to 2017, they were also an Editor for FanSided's Southampton FC blog, Saints Marching, and a Writer for Thunderous Intentions, providing articles and analysis.

In 2018, Chris joined ICAAL as a Digital Project Manager and eventually took on the role of Head of Content, overseeing copy production for website builds and managing other content aspects such as social media, PR, and SEO implementation.

Chris also worked as an Assistant Content Manager and Copywriter at ICAAL, providing support to the Head of Content, producing optimized content, and planning social media strategies.

Currently, Chris is working at Kortext as a Creative & Product Communications Manager.

Chris Hughes obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from Solent University, completing the program from 2014 to 2017.
