Doug Trumbauer

Doug Trumbauer is an experienced petroleum engineer with a career spanning several decades in the energy sector. Since May 2012, Doug has held prominent positions at Kosmos Energy, including SVP and Chief Reservoir Engineer, and has overseen global reservoir management and subsurface operations related to Ghana and East Africa. Prior to their tenure at Kosmos Energy, Doug spent 20 years at DeGolyer and MacNaughton in various roles, including Co-Manager of the Central Europe/Asia Reserves Division, and worked as a Reservoir Engineer at Arco Oil & Gas from 1985 to 1991. Doug holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Penn State University, earned between 1981 and 1985.
