Matt Cartier

Matt Cartier is a seasoned educational leader currently serving as the Chief Innovation Officer at KOSON Schools since July 2023. Matt founded Compass Educational Services in May 2010, focusing on transformative educational services for schools, families, and students. Previously, Matt held leadership roles as Head of School at Colorado Christian Academy and Cherry Hills Christian School, and as Dean of Academic Development at Valor Christian High School, where a coordinated approach to academic support for all students was emphasized. Matt's educational career includes teaching history and coaching at various institutions, as well as experience as an assistant principal and owner of a tutoring business. Matt holds a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelor's degree in Social Science, both from Biola University.
