Dennis Henderson

Dennis Henderson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries, including automotive and engineering. Dennis started their career as a Validation Engineer at Troy Design in 1991 before joining General Motors as a Release Engineer in 1994. Dennis held various roles at General Motors, including Staff Engineer and Engineering Group Manager, where they led and trained a global safety and advanced technology team. Dennis then worked at Saab Automobile AB as a Section Chief in Sweden before returning to General Motors. At General Motors, they served as NA Cost & Quality Improvement Manager, overseeing quality and cost management for HVAC and Powertrain cooling systems. In 2007, they joined Johnson Controls, initially as the Global Director of Engineering and later as the Executive Director of Global Engineering Operations and Technology. In 2015, they joined Yanfeng Automotive Interiors, first as the Executive Director of Global Engineering Operations and then as the Executive Director of Global New Business Incubator. Dennis'smost recent position was as the VP of Sales & Program Management at KOSTAL of America, Inc., where they led a team focused on positioning the company as a preferred solution for electrical and electro-mechanical solutions. Throughout their career, Dennis has demonstrated strong leadership skills, driving sales growth, executing business strategies, and overseeing product development and innovation.

Dennis Henderson completed their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from Michigan Technological University in 1991. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, which they completed in 2004. In 2011, they enrolled in the Executive Development Program, called Leadership Edge, at Johnson Controls.
