Niraj Karia

Niraj Karia currently serves as the CEO of the Private Credit Fund at Kotak Investment Advisors Ltd, a position held since June 2022, and is also involved in incubating the Private Equity (Buyouts) Strategy at Kotak Alts. Prior to this role, Karia worked at KKR & Co. Inc. as a Director from May 2018 to March 2022, and at Kotak Investment Banking as an Executive Director from October 2004 to May 2018. Karia's career began at PriceWaterhouse Coopers as an ABAS Senior from 2002 to 2004. Educational qualifications include a CFA from the CFA Institute (2003-2006), a CA from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (1999-2002), a BCOM in Commerce from the University of Mumbai (1996-2002), and SSC schooling from St Xaviers Boys Academy (1991-1996).
